Fatal Attractions

I don't care what anyone else says. This is the most wholesome picture of toadfucking imaginable.

Not as cool as the Moose in the regular Museum. But then, we like to imagine than Moose is a charismatic crime boss...

No, the deer is not trying to eat a firefly.

Well, not really, as the head is still attached to the body: A sow ready for rutting in the Fatal Attractions exhibit.

Like I said: A sow in the mood for some rutting. I understand replicas of this are found in hillbilly sex shops for thehillbilly with rarefied tastes.

Even I have to admit, two manatees snuggling is adorable.

The proper version of the birds featured in the last entry.

Do your worst, coppers! You'll never make this stool pigeon talk!

Fun fact: Male Peacock's plumage isn't just showing how stylish they are. It's actually advertising to females how physically FIT they are: They have this much bling, and predators still haven't caught them.

Fake Budgies in fake love.

For the budgie-philes among you.

Oh sure, you look at this rather placid-looking Mandrill and think "Aww, he's not so bad"...

...and then you get a glimpse of his "man-drill"...

Oh the snail...so innocent from the back, but you don't want to hug from the front...or else you get tagged by the snail's er "Love Dart" (Hey, the exhibit's words not mine")

Gah! Horny Ostrich Attack! Run! RUN!

Off to bed.

There's something about stuffed animals that makes me laugh out loud - especially the badgers in a 'catalogue' style reclining position they had in the Forest of Dean Museum (the taxidermist probably got bored with doing so many badgers) so, needless to say, I enjoyed these pictures - although the preserved sex organs, less so out of sheer coyness. I did like the 'what do you expect, we've been married for ten years' toads and the irate pigeon, though. That pigeon had so much more of a look of self-awareness and spark in his eyes than the real thing.

Glad you lied them, and I love your comment about the Toads....Mr. and Mrs. Wartham, celebrating their 10th anniversary...

I'm glad it did, but honestly one would have no soul to be unmoved by that photo.

Holy Taxidermy!

(Thanks for the budgies - despite the fakeness!)
